Welcome to PHARscape

Introduction

Welcome to PHARscape. This my personal website dedicated to getting Option Datacards, USB sticks and modules working with Linux.

When I started this project things were much simpler (Option had just 1 device for me to play with) but now there are many devices to think about with many different interfaces. This makes finding what you want quite difficult! I find it tricky to remember everything so this site is a public aid to my memory.

With the new site layout and use of web 2.0 technology the information will be easier for you to locate. Hopefully things will begin to make sense.


What Option modem are you using?

Serial Number People sometimes get confused about what modem they have. Often the company that supplied it will rename the device. The solution is to locate the serial number.

The first 2 letters of the serial number are unique and can be used to identify the device.
