Fedora 4, Fusion and NDISwrapper Working Print E-mail

In the past I was not able to get NDISwrapper to work with the Fusion drivers. Things have recently got a lot better.

I can report NDISwrapper 1.2 combined with kernel 2.6.12 works for me. I don't think stability is an issue - I've just completed a 2 hr YUM update over WiFi :)

The really good news is that so far I haven't needed to  use a 16k stack. The standard 4k stack kernel seems to work fine.

It's early days for me and there are a few issues to address. For example; the ndiswrapper is currently loaded after all the hotplug events have happened so booting with a card in place results in no detetction happening. A quick cradctl eject, cardctl insert solves that.

I've kept it simple, DHCP is not working yet - hardcoded IP address is all I've tried so far.

KWiFiManager seems to work well if a little querkily.
