Hi all,
I experiment a strange behaviour when I shut down ppp connection and try to restart it (with option fusion+ card)...
Sometimes the ppp daemon waits indefinitely for card response, and sometimes it receives a lot of strange characters (see later).

Do you have any idea about how to solve this problem?
For now, I have to reboot my machine, since, sometimes, if I "pccardctl eject" and reinsert the card, the pc freezes...

Regards,
Antonio Barbuzzi

Here the log for ppp:

Have you made sure the ppp interface is down before "pccardctl eject" (e.g. "ifconfig ppp0 down")?

And I've noticed the driver must fully unload the card before "pccardctl insert" is called, usually I just wait about 2 seconds (a "sleep 2" in my scripts makes it work).

I always wait a little time between pppd shutdown and pccardctl eject...
It seems that, even after pppd daemon is down, the card continues to receive packets (I think that the strange characters in the log file are due to packets received and to ppp connection not closed properly)...
