Hello Paul,
well I use comgt and then pppd script to establish a connection with S!mobil Vodafone. Everything works fine as long I use terminal, ssh sessions are ok, even updating of fedora went fine with yum upgrade, but if I start web browser and input any page it disconnects me the second it starts loading it. I have not tryed text browsing yet, but I have tryed to use ssh -D dynamic port forwarding (socks proxy), and same thing happens. Could this be a card problem or network dependent, like do they do some sort of QoS or filtering on http and https protocol?
thanks and best regards,
Mitja |

Well I will anwser myself.
I tryed putting local, passive and lcp-echo-interval 36000, as suggested by jsakalos in his thread, in peer file of my chat script and it works. I do not get disconnected anymore. I hope this was the reason for fixing my problems.
regards,
