There is talk about a patched option kernel module (option_icon) on the usb_modeswitch page (http://www.frederick-reid.com/usb_modeswitch/)
Anyone tried it and what is the benefits compared to a MaxSize patched usbserial?
Can it be downloaded? |

Recent kernels (2.6.20+) include an updated option.ko module that already has the Icon hardware ID predefined so option_icon would not be needed.
I have not compared recent drivers (option.ko and usbserial.ko) to see which is faster.
Cheers,
