hi, a random question which i wondered if anyone would be able to help me with, does anyone know if it is possible to record the wireless communications on the fusion + datacard? I can record the whole layer3 conversation easily enough with tcpdump on the interface but want to be able to listen to the umts control session to understand what is happening here?
If anyone knew of a tool or method to do this then this would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks, jason

Hi Jason,

There is limited data available using the GSM AT commands - signal stength registartion state etc.

Anything lower level such as cell info and air interface settings are not accessible. To read that information you require Qualcomm diagnostics tools which require a license and as far as I know are not usable under Linux.

Appologies for the slow response.

Paul
